The good folks over at Metal Coffee PR's The Grinder have a fascinating new guitar-centric series of interviews called The Axemen up on their blog. They caught up with our very own Mike Olson and Gary Campbell recently to talk shop. Check out what they had to say HERE!

The Axemen Series interview with Mike Olson and Gary Campbell of Ariel's Attic

Jenn Hailey and Bob Ross were interviewed for Metal Coffee PR's The Grinder blog recently and got to answer some pretty deep questions about music theory, philosophy, cosmology, the intricacies of artificial intelligence and machine learning, They shared the painstaking process they use to come up with lyrics, which involves linking together multiple servers on the dark web, monitoring the traffic of the secretive poets anonymous group. They also discussed bringing dead musicians back to life.

OK, they didn't really talk about any of that stuff. Well, except for that last part. Get all the juicy details HERE!

Against My Will

I bear the scars of a million miles

I wear the mask of a hundred smiles

And though I try to reconcile

The memory holds me here against my will

Lost to the void of the undefined

The shattered pieces that were left behind

This angry shield that I've refined

Wreaks havoc on my life against me will

Shadows in the void of who I used to be

Wasted years burning them in effigy

Gaze upon the jagged wasteland of history. We built our tower on this unstable ground, without really paying it any heed. It's a wonder that it's still standing at all. It almost reads like a Homeric tragedy.

Special thanks to Louise Senecal for the perfect ink sketch we're using as the song's thumbnail photo! Louise is an incredible artist, you can see more of her work on Instagram at @lou1954louise

Hey addicts!

We are thrilled to announce the release of our new single, a remake of the Gordon Lightfoot classic The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. It's available for streaming and purchase on the MUSIC page immediately and will be on all the major streaming services soon. Check it out!

On November 10, 1975, the ore freighter SS Edmund Fitzgerald sank while attempting to cross Lake Superior fully loaded with 26000 tons of iron ore. They tried to outrace the Witch of November and lost. Twenty-nine men went down with her. It remains one of the worst nautical disasters in the history of Great Lakes shipping. This is their s...

The good folks at Metal Coffee PR had some questions for us and we were happy to answer. These folks are solid supporters of independently produced music and work real hard to get our music heard. Check it all out on their blog Metal Coffee PR - The Grinder

We got a little nostalgic with this one. We all have a Blackmore Road somewhere in our past, and when events become overwhelming we all want to run back there. It was home. It was safe. It was sane. Check it out on the Music page!

Blackmore Road (music & lyrics by Ariel's Attic)

I don’t recognize what we’ve become

The ties that bind have all become undone

I wanna go back to Blackmore Road

I’m tired and I wanna go home

I don’t understand how it began

The things we loved are slipping through our hands

So take me back to Blackmore Road

I’m lost and I fear we’re too far-gone

Awaiting the catastrophe

To challenge our morality

We didn’t...
